We promote Nepali identity, culture, and mutual welfare, building strong bridges between Thailand and Nepal through development, investment, and humanitarian efforts.

Our mission is to unite, support, and empower the Nepali community by promoting social harmony, cultural preservation, and economic progress. Together, we have built a strong foundation of trust and unity, and we will continue to work tirelessly to uplift the lives of every Nepali living abroad.

At NRNA Thailand, we take pride in being the unifying force for the Nepali diaspora residing across Thailand. As a dedicated national chapter of the Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA), our mission is to unite, empower, and uplift Nepalis living, working, and studying in Thailand under one strong and inclusive organization.

We are committed to preserving and promoting Nepal’s rich heritage, language, and cultural values—ensuring that the identity of our community remains vibrant, respected, and celebrated even far from home.

But we are more than just a community platform. NRNA Thailand serves as a vital link between Thailand and Nepal, fostering knowledge exchange, investment opportunities, and strategic partnerships that contribute to the socio-economic development of our motherland.

In times of need—be it natural disasters or humanitarian crises—we stand in solidarity with Nepal, mobilizing resources and support to aid our country and people.

The International Coordination Council (ICC) is NRNA’s global governing body. It oversees all 88 NCCs worldwide and:
🌍 Sets global policies and strategies
📅 Hosts Global NRN Conferences (e.g., Kathmandu 2025)
🤝 Coordinates with the Government of Nepal on diaspora rights and investments

We:
🔗 Follow and implement ICC guidelines locally
🎤 Send elected delegates to global assemblies and working groups
📄 Report on the needs, challenges, and progress of the Nepali community in Thailand

The NRN Act 2064 is a landmark law passed by the Government of Nepal, which:

  • Recognizes NRNs and PNOs officially

  • Provides eligibility for Continuation of Nepali Citizenship (CNC)

  • Ensures legal backing for NRN investments in Nepal

  • Offers certain rights and protections to the diaspora
