Earthquake Relief Fund Transferred to Myanmar by NRNA Thailand

Bangkok — In response to the recent devastating earthquake in Myanmar, the Non-Resident Nepali Association, National Coordination Council Thailand (NRNA NCC Thailand) has successfully transferred a relief fund collected from the Nepali community in Thailand.

A total of THB 53,854, equivalent to approximately 7,100,642 Myanmar Kyat, has been sent via bank transfer to assist those affected in the earthquake-hit regions of Myanmar.

NRNA Thailand extends its heartfelt gratitude to all kind-hearted individuals who contributed directly and indirectly to this humanitarian effort. The association especially acknowledges the leadership and coordination efforts of Mr. Viki Pokhrel and Mr. Himalayan Paudel (Kalu), whose dedication made this relief initiative successful.

The fund distribution was made possible through the collaborative efforts of the All Myanmar National Gorkha Hindu Religious Association, Mandalay Branch, and its executive members, who actively supported the process on the ground and helped ensure that the assistance reached the most affected communities.

In an official press release, Mr. Sanjay Dhakal, coordinator of the campaign, stated:

“The generosity, solidarity, and compassion shown during this time of crisis are truly inspiring and commendable. This initiative was carried out with the belief that even small contributions from many can lead to a significant impact.”

NRNA Thailand remains committed to continuing its humanitarian mission and mobilizing support for those in need during times of natural disasters and emergencies in the future.
